Airedales are considered a non-shedding breed of dog (although all dogs shed a little) so they need help in this regard. A daily brushing with a stiff brush is recommended, together with combing to release any knots and to remove any debris that may have become attached to its wiry coat. This can be done weekly, but dealing with smaller areas on a more regular basis will make life easier for both the Airedale Terrier owner and the dog itself.
